What we keep, and for how long

What's saved: the first names you type, the characters you pick, your dates and choices, and the answers that get sent back.

Who can see it: anyone with the invite link sees the invite. For a group invite, that includes the first names of everyone invited, but never anyone's answers. Only the person with the private answers link sees the answers.

Date ideas you send us: if you use the "Got another idea?" box, we keep the text you typed so we can read it. Don't put anything personal in it.

How long: every invite and its answers are deleted automatically 45 days after the invite is made.

Tips: leaving a tip is optional and is handled by PayPal. Your card details go straight to PayPal and never touch this site. We keep only PayPal's payment number, the amount, and whether it went through. PayPal's own privacy policy covers what PayPal keeps, and PayPal may set its own cookies when the tip box loads.

Counting visits: we use Umami to count how many people visit and which features get used (for example, how many invites are made). It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. Your invite links, private links, names and answers are never sent to it.

What we don't do: no accounts, no ads, no selling data, no tracking cookies. We don't ask for phone numbers or emails.
